The City is launching its 2015 Flu Vaccination Campaign to ensure that City employees again have easy access to a flu shot. The campaign will run through the month of December.
This is one of many wellness initiatives that the Mayor and the Office of Labor Relations have committed to in an effort to improve the health of the New York City workforce. The flu is most common during the fall and winter months. Every year, more than 2,000 New Yorkers die of seasonal influenza and pneumonia, which can develop as a complication of flu. A flu shot is the BEST way to protect against seasonal influenza.
Starting on Wednesday, September 16th, this campaign will allow all City employees who receive health insurance through the City to get a free annual flu vaccination:
  • At your worksite – schedule your appointment by clicking here, or call 1-866-481-4391 Mon-Fri from 8AM-6PM.

  • At an AdvantageCare Physicians Location – schedule your appointment online by clicking here, or call the exclusive Gold Service Line for City of New York employees at 1-646-680-3000                            Mon-Fri from 8AM-5PM.
  • At a participating pharmacy – to find a list of DOHMH approved pharmacies please click here.
            Wherever you go to get the shot, be sure to bring your agency ID and your health plan card.
