Fashion News 12/14-12/18

Mrs. Herbert and Ms. Cisse accompanied students on the Lincoln Center Performing Arts Library field trip on Thursday - December 10th. 

 

The trip was coordinated by Gretchen Kolderup, Manager of the Young Adult Education & Engagement for the New York Public Library.

 

The students were very engaged, asking critical questions, and learning about the different ways they could acquire research information in the library and online.

Our partner in the neighborhood is inviting HSFI art students to a free art event: “I hope your holidays are going well! I just wanted to let you know we have a great manga drawing workshop scheduled for early next month here at Jefferson Market Library. It's being facilitated by the magnificent Ivan Velez at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2015. The program will probably last around an hour and all materials are provided! No need to sign up, so the kids can just show up whenever they like.”  Manga for Teens
