Students Visit Swaroski Show Room

Everyone needs a little sparkle in their life," and who does it better than Swarovski.

The launch of the Swarovski + HSFI partnership is in full effect. On Friday, March 17, 2017, fifteen senior students were invited to Swarovski New York Headquarters, where they were introduced to the brand, and learned about various application techniques during an exclusive master class. Students were afforded the opportunity to their explore creativity by decorating tote bags, chokers, and headbands with various components provided. Students left feeling inspired, and ready to implement what they learned during their master class into their Fashion Show Designs. I can't wait to see what they come up with, as I'm sure that it will not disappoint!

Say Yes to the Prom!

Say Yes to the Prom was an amazing life changing experience. Students were afforded the opportunity to work with a professional stylist to select an outfit for one of the biggest events of their life, prom. Ten girls and five boys were selected to receive prom pampering for their big day. Students received head to toe makeovers, which included hair and makeup (compliments of Paul Mitchell), shoes, purses and other accessories. Montey Durham and Betsey Johnson, renowned fashion designer offered inspirational advice during a style seminar. As if the day couldn't be more spectacular, students graced the runway with their new show stopping looks. Each student left feeling empowered and as beautiful outside, as they felt within!

Thank you Discovery for this making our dreams come true!Inline image 9
