CALL TO ACTION

Every week, I will share with you a ‘Call To Action’ around our school goals that will help drive our work for that week.

HSFI ‘CARED FOR’ GOAL – RELATIONSHIPS & REALNESS

HOLIDAYS ARE DIFFICULT TIMES FOR MANY STUDENTS

We are entering a stressful time for many of our students with Easter coming up.  The holidays are often a reminder of loved ones that are no longer with us - COVID has certainly increased the chance for loss.  Please look for changes in your students and let one of our mental health professionals know if you see a child in distress.

HSFI ‘CHALLENGED’ GOAL – RIGOR & RELEVANCE

MARKING PERIOD TWO ENDS ON FRIDAY - COMMUNICATE GRADES

The second marking period of the Spring term ends this Friday with grades submitted by teachers at the end of the month.  Please make sure students know where they stand in their classes and know what is required for them to receive the grades that they would like to receive.  This marking period is especially critical for at-risk students because preliminary summer school and promotion decisions are based on these grades.
