HSFI's freshman English class went on a field trip to The Center for Fiction. It was amazing to witness Morgan Cuffie's third period class serve as ambassadors for our school. Not only were her students so well behaved, but Issac Gonzalez read his short story, written as a 5 minute writing exercise by author Danielle Paige, to incredible applause from the audience. The staff and Danielle's publicists were very impressed with the HSFI's students. They are planning to invite us back in the Spring.
Nana Fofana, Ms. Cuffie's student said that "the trip helped her learn how the career of a writer is a little bumpy but with perseverance and positive habits the journey brings rewards." Danielle talked about her college, and career journey that many students found helpful.
