HOUR OF CODE

Computer Science Week @ HSFI's Library's Annual Hourofcode.org was celebrated by Ms. Thomas and Ms. Russell's English classes, assisted by Ms. Wright.  Students coded with Disney, Minecraft and Flappy Bird then heard about the genre of Science Fiction: Frankenstein, Frankenstein's Cat, The Uglies, Warm Bodies, The Handmaids Tale, Ms. Marvel and the Graphic Novel Screwball and many more. Many students said that they were going to continue to learn coding on their own at code.org with free, free, free learning tools that are fun. https://goo.gl/photos/Qau5QWZuTHJPHpQs8
