Transgender Youth Conference

On Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015 HSFI students attended the Transgender Youth Conference at the Manhattan Comprehensive Night and Day High School. The event featured guest performances from Gramercy Arts High School, Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, HSFI and key note speaker Chancellor Carmen Fariña. The conference covered issues such as Identity, Transgender in the Media, and a Journey of Family Support. The High School of Fashion Industries students put on a memorable show stopping performance, as sixteen students modeled breathtaking garments created by designer Fabian Salazar.
