We are presenting a new segment this year: HSFI FLY student of the Month. We want to acknowledge students stellar academic record as well as their extracurriculars. This month's Fly student is Shaneek Roper who has demonstrated excellence in his classes, sports as well as in his personal endeavors with his own business. FITNESS ROOM
Introducing our New and Improved fitness room! Now equipped with 2 treadmills, 5 bicycles, new weights, a multi-service machine which houses leg curls, low row, and chest press, we now can teach students alternative ways to maintain physical fitness.
Expected to open in the Spring, the fitness room will benefit students taking Physical education class, student athletes in maintaining optimal fitness for their respective sports and greatly benefit students who have injuries, they now can participate in activities that will aid in their recoveries.
GIANT PUPPET PROJECT
Students continue to work hard in collaboration with Ms. Carol Sterling on their Giant Puppet Project. Our School's Mascot is underway!
